Member Categories
Regular Members
Regular members are dentists, hygienists and other oral healthcare practitioners who practice, teach, research or provide administration in the area of special care dentistry. Dues for dentists are $235 for new members, $265 for renewing members and dues for dental hygienists and other oral healthcare providers are $150. These dues will entitle members to a subscription to the Special Care in Dentistry Journal and reduced member rates for educational programs and products as may be developed. (click here to join)
Resident/Student Members
Student members are enrolled full-time in either an undergraduate or postgraduate education program in any area of oral healthcare. Dues are $60 for each year of full-time undergraduate training (students) and $70 for postgraduate training (residents). Educational status must be validated upon application and/or renewal. Participating/Institutional Members
Institutional members are institutions, associations/organizations and agencies that support the mission and goals of SCDA. These dues payments entitle members to a subscription to the Special Care in Dentistry Journal and member rates for educational programs and products as may be developed. (click here to join)
Honorary Members
Honorary members are exempt from paying dues. Honorary members are individuals whom SCDA has recognized for special service to its missions and goals. Honorary members will receive the Special Care in DentistryJournal and member rates for educational programs and products as may be developed. (click here to join)
Retired Members
Retired members are limited to members who have retired from active practice, teaching, research or administration. Dues are $60 per year. These dues payments entitle members to discounted rates for educational programs and products as may be developed. For an additional charge of $85, you can continue to receive the Special Care in Dentistry journal and keep abreast of the latest in care for the special needs population. (click here to join)
Supporting Associate Membership
An Associate member is any individual who supports the mission and goals of SCDA. These dues payments of $145 entitle members to a subscription to the Special Care in DentistryJournal and member rates for educational programs and products as may be developed. (click here to join)
Corporate Membership
Corportate Membership is available to corporations who would like to become involved in the activities of SCDA and participate in the Corporate Advisory Board. Levels of support entitle the corporations to different membership benefits. (click here to join)
